Auction result well in line with expectations
In September last year Phillips in an online auction held the auction INTERSECT: Online Auction, which included the work Two works: (i) Salmon and Asparagus; (ii) Melancolía con Verduras by Atsushi Kaga. The price achieved of HKD 15,120.00 (€ 1,967.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Atsushi Kaga achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Breakfast in January in May this year with an auction result of HKD 2,520,000.00 (€ 302,049.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September letzten Jahres führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion INTERSECT: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two works: (i) Salmon and Asparagus; (ii) Melancolía con Verduras von Atsushi Kaga zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 15.120,00 (€ 1.967,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Atsushi Kaga erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Breakfast in January im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.520.000,00 (€ 302.049,93).
