A top price for Astrid Kirchherr - as previously expected
In February 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction British. Cool., which included the work John Lennon and George Harrison, circa 1962 by Astrid Kirchherr. The price achieved of GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,176.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, John Lennon and George Harrison, circa 1962 is the most expensive artwork by Astrid Kirchherr that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Februar 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion British. Cool. durch, in der auch die Arbeit John Lennon and George Harrison, circa 1962 von Astrid Kirchherr zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.020,00 (€ 1.176,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist John Lennon and George Harrison, circa 1962 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Astrid Kirchherr, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
