In September 2006 Sothebys in New York held the auction Indian Art Including Miniatures & Modern Indian Paintings, which included the work The Procession by Asit Kumar Haldar. The »bidding war« ended at USD 114,000.00 (€ 89,855.76), 43% above the upper estimate. With this result, The Procession is even the most expensive work of art by Asit Kumar Haldar that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im September 2006 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Indian Art Including Miniatures & Modern Indian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Procession von Asit Kumar Haldar zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 114.000,00 (€ 89.855,76) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist The Procession sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Asit Kumar Haldar, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
