In March 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art, which included the work Untitled (Fish Vendor) by Arun Bose. The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,750.00 (€ 4,306.83), 58% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arun Bose - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Survinance, which sold at auction in July 2007 for USD 18,000.00 (€ 13,128.15).

Im März 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Fish Vendor) von Arun Bose zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 4.750,00 (€ 4.306,83) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Arun Bose mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Survinance beobachtet, die im Juli 2007 für USD 18.000,00 (€ 13.128,15) versteigert wurde.
