A top price for Arun Bose - as previously expected
In July 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction An Auction to Benefit the Kolkata Museum of Modern Art, which included the work Survinance by Arun Bose. The result of USD 18,000.00 (€ 13,128.15) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 18,000.00 – 22,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Survinance is the most expensive artwork by Arun Bose that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juli 2007 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion An Auction to Benefit the Kolkata Museum of Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Survinance von Arun Bose zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 18.000,00 (€ 13.128,15) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 18.000,00 – 22.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Survinance das teuerste Kunstwerk von Arun Bose, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
