Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction An Auction to Benefit the Kolkata Museum of Modern Art, which included the work Pair Of Etchings On Paper by Arun Bose. The price achieved of USD 1,560.00 (€ 1,137.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,400.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arun Bose achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Survinance in July 2007 with an auction result of USD 18,000.00 (€ 13,128.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2007 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion An Auction to Benefit the Kolkata Museum of Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pair Of Etchings On Paper von Arun Bose zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.560,00 (€ 1.137,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.400,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arun Bose erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Survinance im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 18.000,00 (€ 13.128,15).
