Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (18) by Arturo Herrera was sold in the Post War & Contemporary Art auction at Christies in June 2021. The price achieved of EUR 4,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arturo Herrera achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 389,000.00 (€ 299,507.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (18) von Arturo Herrera wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion Post War & Contemporary Art bei Christies versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arturo Herrera erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 389.000,00 (€ 299.507,24).
