Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th & 20th Century Sculpture, which included the work Kabyle au retour de la chasse (The Berber Hunter) by Arthur Waagen. The price achieved of GBP 13,900.00 (€ 16,300.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Arthur Waagen have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2009 the work German "Couple Algerien", A Pair Of Bronze Figural Reliefs was auctioned for USD 28,750.00 (€ 21,680.11).

Im Juli 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th & 20th Century Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Kabyle au retour de la chasse (The Berber Hunter) von Arthur Waagen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 13.900,00 (€ 16.300,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Arthur Waagen konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2009 die Arbeit German "Couple Algerien", A Pair Of Bronze Figural Reliefs für USD 28.750,00 (€ 21.680,11) versteigert.
