In November 2005 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY SCULPTURE, which included the work Horse by Arthur Spronken. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 12,000.00 71% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arthur Spronken - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Reclining nude, which sold at auction in November 2005 for EUR 30,000.00.

Im November 2005 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY SCULPTURE durch, in der auch die Arbeit Horse von Arthur Spronken zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 12.000,00 und damit 71% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Arthur Spronken mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Reclining nude beobachtet, die im November 2005 für EUR 30.000,00 versteigert wurde.
