Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Pick Of The Litter by Arthur John Elsley for GBP 68,750.00 (€ 81,689.87). This price was achieved in the auction Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 70,000.00 – 90,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arthur John Elsley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Golden Hours in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 831,000.00 (€ 979,259.96).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Pick Of The Litter von Arthur John Elsley für GBP 68.750,00 (€ 81.689,87) erwerben.
