In December 2007 Christies in London held the auction British & Continental Watercolours & Drawings, which included the work Cloud Study (Illustrated); And The Approaching Squall by Arthur Henry Knighton Hammond. The result of GBP 400.00 (€ 543.53) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arthur Henry Knighton Hammond - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sunbathing beside a river; and Resting beside the lake, which sold at auction in January 2007 for GBP 1,440.00 (€ 2,172.63).

Im Dezember 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion British & Continental Watercolours & Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cloud Study (Illustrated); And The Approaching Squall von Arthur Henry Knighton Hammond zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 400,00 (€ 543,53) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00.
