Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Arthur Grover Rider achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August 2020. In the California and Western Art auction, the work Sóller, Balearic Island sold for USD 13,825.00 (€ 11,582.61) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arthur Grover Rider achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bringing in the Boat 29 1/4 x 33 1/4in in March 2020 with an auction result of USD 187,575.00 (€ 170,074.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Arthur Grover Rider erzielte im August 2020 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion California and Western Art wurde die Arbeit Sóller, Balearic Island für USD 13.825,00 (€ 11.582,61) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arthur Grover Rider erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bringing in the Boat 29 1/4 x 33 1/4in im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 187.575,00 (€ 170.074,35).
