In June 2001 Christies in London held the auction BRITISH & CONTINENTAL WATERCOLOURS,DRAWINGS & ILLUSTRATIONS, which included the work A View Of Warwick Castle by Arthur Gerald Ackermann. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 822.50 (€ 1,366.34). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arthur Gerald Ackermann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Blakeney Regatta; and High water - Overy Staithe, which sold at auction in May 2004 for GBP 2,031.50 (€ 3,048.00).

Im Juni 2001 führte Christies in London die Auktion BRITISH & CONTINENTAL WATERCOLOURS,DRAWINGS & ILLUSTRATIONS durch, in der auch die Arbeit A View Of Warwick Castle von Arthur Gerald Ackermann zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 822,50 (€ 1.366,34) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Arthur Gerald Ackermann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Blakeney Regatta; and High water - Overy Staithe beobachtet, die im Mai 2004 für GBP 2.031,50 (€ 3.048,00) versteigert wurde.
