The work The harvesters by Arthur Gerald Ackermann was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in June 2008. The result of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,264.03) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arthur Gerald Ackermann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Blakeney Regatta; and High water - Overy Staithe, which sold at auction in May 2004 for GBP 2,031.50 (€ 3,048.00).
