Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Harbor Siesta by Arthur Edwaine Beaumont was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in April last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 2,167.50 (€ 2,057.04) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arthur Edwaine Beaumont - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bunkering, which sold at auction in August 2018 for USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,928.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Harbor Siesta von Arthur Edwaine Beaumont kam im April letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 2.167,50 (€ 2.057,04) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Arthur Edwaine Beaumont mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bunkering beobachtet, die im August 2018 für USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.928,77) versteigert wurde.
