This artwork by Arthur Dominique Rozaire achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November this year. In the California and Western Art Online auction, the work French Canadian Farm House, Morning Light and Clouds over a Landscape (a group of three) first 9 1/4 x 13 1/2 in., second and third 10 1/2 x 14 in. each unframed sold for USD 3,584.00 (€ 3,285.66) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arthur Dominique Rozaire - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red Sap Buckets, Canada, which sold at auction in April last year for USD 8,925.00 (€ 8,470.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Arthur Dominique Rozaire erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion California and Western Art Online wurde die Arbeit French Canadian Farm House, Morning Light and Clouds over a Landscape (a group of three) first 9 1/4 x 13 1/2 in., second and third 10 1/2 x 14 in. each unframed für USD 3.584,00 (€ 3.285,66) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Arthur Dominique Rozaire mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Red Sap Buckets, Canada beobachtet, die im April letzten Jahres für USD 8.925,00 (€ 8.470,15) versteigert wurde.
