This price was achieved in the auction Home & Interiors at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arthur Dampier May achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Before the bath in July 2018 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 33,636.60).
