This artwork by Arthur Burdett Frost achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in October 2000. In the American Paintings and Sculpture auction, the work An Outing sold for USD 9,400.00 (€ 11,077.07) - well above the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arthur Burdett Frost - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work An Unexpected Covey, which sold at auction in April 2017 for USD 35,000.00 (€ 32,124.83).

In der Auktion American Paintings and Sculpture wurde die Arbeit An Outing für USD 9.400,00 (€ 11.077,07) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Arthur Burdett Frost mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit An Unexpected Covey beobachtet, die im April 2017 für USD 35.000,00 (€ 32.124,83) versteigert wurde.
