Auction result well in line with expectations
In March last year Sothebys in Paris held the auction Living Contemporary, which included the work Ici était l'océan by Arthur Aeschbacher. The price achieved of EUR 1,134.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arthur Aeschbacher achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Obliteration Bleue - 1978 in October 2016 with an auction result of EUR 23,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Living Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ici était l'océan von Arthur Aeschbacher zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.134,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arthur Aeschbacher erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Obliteration Bleue - 1978 im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 23.400,00.
