Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2010 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master & 19th Century European Art, which included the work Peaks In Snow by Arseniy Ivanovich Meshchersky. The »bidding war« ended at USD 11,875.00 (€ 8,561.64), 19% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Arseniy Ivanovich Meshchersky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mountain Landscape in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 38,400.00 (€ 57,025.20).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2010 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Peaks In Snow von Arseniy Ivanovich Meshchersky zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 8.561,64) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arseniy Ivanovich Meshchersky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mountain Landscape im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 38.400,00 (€ 57.025,20).
