A top price for Arseniy Ivanovich Meshchersky - as previously expected
In November 2006 Christies in London held the auction Important Russian Pictures, which included the work Mountain Landscape by Arseniy Ivanovich Meshchersky. The price achieved of GBP 38,400.00 (€ 57,025.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 45,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Mountain Landscape is the most expensive artwork by Arseniy Ivanovich Meshchersky that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Important Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mountain Landscape von Arseniy Ivanovich Meshchersky zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 38.400,00 (€ 57.025,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 25.000,00 – 45.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Mountain Landscape das teuerste Kunstwerk von Arseniy Ivanovich Meshchersky, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
