Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2012 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters and 19th Century Art, which included the work Red fritillaries, peonies, convolvulus, coleseed, red hydrangeas, lilacs, carnations and other flowers in a terracotta, together with violets on a marble ledge by Arnoldus Bloemers. The price achieved of EUR 61,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arnoldus Bloemers - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lilacs, Peonies, Tulips, Roses, Irises and other Flowers with Fruit and a Bird's Nest on a Marble Ledge, which sold at auction in April 2012 for USD 218,500.00 (€ 165,167.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2012 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Red fritillaries, peonies, convolvulus, coleseed, red hydrangeas, lilacs, carnations and other flowers in a terracotta, together with violets on a marble ledge von Arnoldus Bloemers zur Versteigerung kam.
