Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Arnold Newman could be acquired at Bonhams in New York in August last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the PhotographsSummer Cut auction, the work Milton Avery changed hands for USD 1,020.00 (€ 1,013.41) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arnold Newman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Igor Stravinsky, New York City. in December 2021 with an auction result of EUR 16,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Arnold Newman konnte im August letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion PhotographsSummer Cut wechselte die Arbeit Milton Avery für USD 1.020,00 (€ 1.013,41) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arnold Newman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Igor Stravinsky, New York City. im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.250,00.
