Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Gosausee, Austria by Georg Arnold-Graboné for GBP 62.50 (€ 76.65). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors Featuring Islamic & Indian Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 700.00 – 900.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Georg Arnold-Graboné have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sommermorgen im Tirolerland in December 2002 with an auction result of EUR 552.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Gosausee, Austria von Georg Arnold-Graboné für GBP 62,50 (€ 76,65) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors Featuring Islamic & Indian Interiors bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 700,00 – 900,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Georg Arnold-Graboné auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sommermorgen im Tirolerland im Dezember 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 552,00.
