Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2002 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work An Alpine landscape; and A shimmering pool in a meadow by Georg Arnold-Graboné. The price achieved of GBP 82.25 (€ 131.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25.00 – 200.00. Admittedly, works by Georg Arnold-Graboné have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sommermorgen im Tirolerland in December 2002 with an auction result of EUR 552.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit An Alpine landscape; and A shimmering pool in a meadow von Georg Arnold-Graboné zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 82,25 (€ 131,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 25,00 – 200,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Georg Arnold-Graboné auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sommermorgen im Tirolerland im Dezember 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 552,00.
