Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cartiglio by Armodio was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in April 2011. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,875.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Armodio - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work i Dolcini, which sold at auction in December 2021 for EUR 6,875.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cartiglio von Armodio kam im April 2011 bei Sothebys in Mailand zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.875,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Armodio mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit i Dolcini beobachtet, die im Dezember 2021 für EUR 6.875,00 versteigert wurde.
