Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2014 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art Modern & Contemporary, which included the work Mujer Con Uveros by Armando Reverón. The price achieved of USD 389,000.00 (€ 312,751.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 350,000.00 – 450,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Armando Reverón - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Desnudo Detrás De La Mantilla, which sold at auction in May 2012 for USD 872,500.00 (€ 705,677.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2014 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin American Art Modern & Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mujer Con Uveros von Armando Reverón zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 389.000,00 (€ 312.751,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 350.000,00 – 450.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Armando Reverón mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Desnudo Detrás De La Mantilla beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für USD 872.500,00 (€ 705.677,77) versteigert wurde.
