Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Juanita Sentada (Descanso) by Armando Reverón. The price achieved of USD 341,000.00 (€ 250,624.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 300,000.00 – 400,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Armando Reverón - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Desnudo Detrás De La Mantilla, which sold at auction in May 2012 for USD 872,500.00 (€ 705,677.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2013 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Juanita Sentada (Descanso) von Armando Reverón zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 341.000,00 (€ 250.624,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 300.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Armando Reverón mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Desnudo Detrás De La Mantilla beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für USD 872.500,00 (€ 705.677,77) versteigert wurde.
