In May last year Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Discoveries, which included this untitled work by Armand Boua. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,780.00 (€ 4,446.81), 51% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Armand Boua have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled, 2016 in March 2019 with an auction result of GBP 21,312.00 (€ 24,736.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 51 % übertroffen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Discoveries durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Armand Boua zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.780,00 (€ 4.446,81) und damit 51% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Armand Boua auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled, 2016 im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.312,00 (€ 24.736,19).
