Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2005 Christies in Tel Aviv held the auction 19TH & 20TH CENTURY ART, which included the work Card Players by Arieh Lubin. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,240.00 (€ 2,623.69) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Arieh Lubin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Figures in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 24,000.00 (€ 17,569.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2005 führte Christies in Tel Aviv die Auktion 19TH & 20TH CENTURY ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Card Players von Arieh Lubin zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 3.240,00 (€ 2.623,69) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arieh Lubin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Figures im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 24.000,00 (€ 17.569,55).
