The auction ended at the price of HKD 140,000.00 (€ 14,766.97), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 90,000.00 – 140,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arie Smit achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Padi Fields in May 2019 with an auction result of HKD 3,605,000.00 (€ 412,591.26).
