The work Padi Fields by Arie Smit was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in December 2020. The auction ended at the price of HKD 140,000.00 (€ 14,766.97), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 90,000.00 – 140,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arie Smit achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Padi Fields in May 2019 with an auction result of HKD 3,605,000.00 (€ 412,591.26).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Padi Fields von Arie Smit kam im Dezember 2020 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 140.000,00 (€ 14.766,97) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 90.000,00 – 140.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arie Smit erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Padi Fields im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.605.000,00 (€ 412.591,26).
