Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ardeshir Mohasses could be acquired at Bonhams in January this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online auction, this work without title changed hands for GBP 510.00 (€ 578.86) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ardeshir Mohasses achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 30,257.89).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ardeshir Mohasses konnte im Januar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 510,00 (€ 578,86) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ardeshir Mohasses erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 30.257,89).
