Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Overpopulation And Famine by Ardeshir Mohasses was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including BaghdadiyatIraqi Masterpieces from the Madhloom and Makiya Collections auction at Bonhams in London in June 2021. The price achieved of GBP 2,550.00 (€ 2,971.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ardeshir Mohasses achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 30,257.89).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.550,00 (€ 2.971,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden.
