Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Iranian haji Firooz by Ardeshir Mohasses was sold in the 20th Century Art / Middle East auction at Sothebys in London in October 2017. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,700.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ardeshir Mohasses have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 30,257.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Iranian haji Firooz von Ardeshir Mohasses wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.700,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ardeshir Mohasses auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 30.257,89).
