Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Middle Eastern Art Online Sale, which included the work Headless Figure by Ardeshir Mohasses. The price achieved of GBP 1,912.50 (€ 2,246.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ardeshir Mohasses achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 30,257.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Middle Eastern Art Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Headless Figure von Ardeshir Mohasses zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.912,50 (€ 2.246,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ardeshir Mohasses erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 30.257,89).
