In November 2021 Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Spiaggia e mare by Ardengo Soffici. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 10,000.00 43% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Ardengo Soffici have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Case di Bulciano in May 2010 with an auction result of EUR 89,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 43 % übertroffen
Im November 2021 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spiaggia e mare von Ardengo Soffici zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 10.000,00 und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ardengo Soffici auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Case di Bulciano im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 89.000,00.
