Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Ardash Kakafian was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in March 2015. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 9,310.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ardash Kakafian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in October 2014 for USD 27,500.00 (€ 21,947.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ardash Kakafian kam im März 2015 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 9.310,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Ardash Kakafian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für USD 27.500,00 (€ 21.947,33) versteigert wurde.
