Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Archibald Stuart Wortley; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The March Past: Howard, Alan and Nairne, sons of Alfred Reynolds, Esq. sold at auction in December 2021 with the realized price of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 38,765.68).
