Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Horizon Field by Antony Gormley was sold in the Made In Britain auction at Sothebys in London in March 2015. It achieved a price of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,295.32), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antony Gormley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Case for an Angel I in October 2017 with an auction result of GBP 5,296,250.00 (€ 6,038,761.70).
