Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Antony Donaldson could be acquired at Sothebys in London in November 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Made in Britain / Online auction, this work without title changed hands for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,409.96) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antony Donaldson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Green Record in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 137,000.00 (€ 156,017.44).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Antony Donaldson konnte im November 2018 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Made in Britain / Online wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.409,96) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antony Donaldson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Green Record im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 137.000,00 (€ 156.017,44).
