Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Study Towards 'Strip Board' by Antony Donaldson was sold in the Modern British Art Day Sale auction at Christies in London in March 2021. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,810.57) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antony Donaldson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Green Record in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 137,000.00 (€ 156,017.44).

Die Arbeit Study Towards 'Strip Board' von Antony Donaldson wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion Modern British Art Day Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.810,57) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antony Donaldson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Green Record im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 137.000,00 (€ 156.017,44).
