Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Jim Clark by Antony Donaldson was auctioned at Christies in London in January 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,710.94). Admittedly, works by Antony Donaldson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Green Record in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 137,000.00 (€ 156,017.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Jim Clark von Antony Donaldson kam im Januar 2020 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 25.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 32.710,94) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Antony Donaldson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Green Record im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 137.000,00 (€ 156.017,44).
