Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Transfiguration by Antonio Tempesta was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2006. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 19,200.00 (€ 28,495.20). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Antonio Tempesta - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Réconciliation De Jacob Et Esaü, which sold at auction in November 2019 for EUR 85,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Transfiguration von Antonio Tempesta kam im Dezember 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 19.200,00 (€ 28.495,20) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Antonio Tempesta mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Réconciliation De Jacob Et Esaü beobachtet, die im November 2019 für EUR 85.800,00 versteigert wurde.
