In April 2018 Il Ponte held the auction Disegni e Incisioni di Antichi Maestri, which included the work Veduta di Sorrento by Antonio Senape. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 450.00 73% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Senape achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An album in marbled boards of 63 drawings of Italy, Greece, Malta and Turkey 25.2 x 38 cm. (9 15/16 x 14 15/16 in.) and smaller, with ten panoramas of 26 x 52.5 cm (10 1/4 x 20 5/8 in.) and two loose mounted drawings, sheets 3 and 4 of a panorama of in July last year with an auction result of GBP 19,125.00 (€ 22,83

Im April 2018 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Disegni e Incisioni di Antichi Maestri durch, in der auch die Arbeit Veduta di Sorrento von Antonio Senape zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 450,00 und damit 73% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonio Senape erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit An album in marbled boards of 63 drawings of Italy, Greece, Malta and Turkey 25.2 x 38 cm.
