Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2001 Christies in London held the auction Old Master Drawings - CSK, which included the work The Temple Of Venus At Baiae; And A View Of Naples Seen From Posillipo by Antonio Senape. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,057.50 (€ 1,722.06). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Senape achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An album in marbled boards of 63 drawings of Italy, Greece, Malta and Turkey 25.2 x 38 cm. (9 15/16 x 14 15/16 in.) and smaller, with ten panoramas of 26 x 52.5 cm (10 1/4 x 20 5/8 in.) and two loose mounted drawings, sheets 3 and 4 of a panorama of in July last year with an auction result of GBP 19,125.00 (€ 22,83
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2001 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master Drawings - CSK durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Temple Of Venus At Baiae; And A View Of Naples Seen From Posillipo von Antonio Senape zur Versteigerung kam. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit An album in marbled boards of 63 drawings of Italy, Greece, Malta and Turkey 25.2 x 38 cm. (9 15/16 x 14 15/16 in.) and smaller, with ten panoramas of 26 x 52.5 cm (10 1/4 x 20 5/8 in.) and two loose mounted drawings, sheets 3 and 4 of a panorama of im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 19.125,00 (€ 22.838,65).
