Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Eva Paradise by Antonio Saura was auctioned at Christies in Paris in June 2017. The price achieved of EUR 116,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Antonio Saura have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Crucifixion noire et rouge in February 2007 with an auction result of GBP 535,200.00 (€ 793,414.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Eva Paradise von Antonio Saura kam im Juni 2017 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 116.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Antonio Saura auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Crucifixion noire et rouge im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 535.200,00 (€ 793.414,78).
