Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Antonio Pietro Martino could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in April 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture auction, the work Delaware Valley changed hands for USD 5,250.00 (€ 4,703.46) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 9,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Antonio Pietro Martino - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sledding, Manayunk, Pennsylvania, which sold at auction in September 2009 for USD 20,000.00 (€ 13,670.54).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Antonio Pietro Martino konnte im April 2015 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture wechselte die Arbeit Delaware Valley für USD 5.250,00 (€ 4.703,46) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 9.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Antonio Pietro Martino mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sledding, Manayunk, Pennsylvania beobachtet, die im September 2009 für USD 20.000,00 (€ 13.670,54) versteigert wurde.
