Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 17,500.00 (€ 16,062.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Antonio Marini - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Paesaggio Fluviale Con Soldati In Lontananza, which sold at auction in June 2006 for EUR 57,040.00.
