This artwork by Antonio Marini achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2007. In the Old Master Paintings auction, the work A Coastal Landscape With Figures Beside A Cascade sold for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 17,503.23) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Antonio Marini - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Paesaggio Fluviale Con Soldati In Lontananza, which sold at auction in June 2006 for EUR 57,040.00.

Für andere Arbeiten von Antonio Marini mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Paesaggio Fluviale Con Soldati In Lontananza beobachtet, die im Juni 2006 für EUR 57.040,00 versteigert wurde.
