Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Antonio Mancini could be acquired at Sothebys in London in December 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century European Paintings auction, the work Italian the Mandolin Player changed hands for GBP 75,000.00 (€ 83,556.65) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Other works by Antonio Mancini have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in September 2017 by the work Portrait Of W.B. Yeats at GBP 112,500.00 (€ 127,632.69).
